SCOTT frameset 29" Scale RC World Cup HMX | 2026
The Scott Scale frames have long had a firm place in the World Cup circuit. The 2026 model is also raced by the pros on the World Cup courses. A feather-light racing machine that was developed for nothing other than converting muscle power into propulsion.
The low frame weight of only 930 grams and the high stiffness are mainly due to the HMX carbon fibers. These are produced exclusively for Scott and come very close to the ideal balance between weight, stiffness and comfort. In addition, fibers impregnated with nano-resin are used in particularly stressed and critical areas. This ensures undisturbed propulsion and protects your frame from serious damage in the event of a fall.
The comfort aspect was not neglected either. The SDS2 (Shock Damping System) has been further developed. This is not limited to individual parts of the frame, but considers it as a whole. The arrangement of the carbon fibers was chosen so that the stiffness is not negatively affected when pedalling and flex is created where it directly benefits the rider's performance.
The scope of delivery already includes a RockShox SID SL Ultimate suspension fork. This also largely irons out unevenness, keeping bumps away from the rider and ensuring optimum grip in difficult passages.
Another interesting feature is the adjustable headset from Acros. In addition to the well-known high functionality, the steering angle can be changed by +/- 0.6°. This allows you to adapt the entire frame geometry to your individual preferences or area of use.
With the acceptance of 1x drivetrains, the seat tube has also been completely redesigned. A front derailleur is no longer required and the shape has been optimized for stiffness and comfort. It has a small mount for the Scott chain guide above the bottom bracket.
A clean and graceful look is achieved by the ICCR cable routing, in which all cables and lines run through the frame. The redesigned routing directly through the head tube avoids additional openings on the down tube and provides even better protection against water and dirt. Inside, the cables are neatly routed through inserts and can therefore be easily installed. The small service opening in the front part of the bottom bracket area also serves to simplify routing or maintenance work. After removing a plastic plate, work can be carried out inside the frame without having to remove the bottom bracket.
