Material Properties
Rims: Our rims are available in various materials, including aluminium and carbon. Aluminium rims are known for their robustness and affordable price, whilst carbon rims impress with their low weight and stiffness. Rim Internal Widths
The internal width of the rims is crucial for compatibility with different tyre widths. Our rims have internal widths between 25 and 35 mm, making them ideal for a wide variety of tyres. Freehub Compatibility
We offer wheelsets with various freehub standards to ensure compatibility with common groupsets from Shimano and SRAM. For Shimano systems, we have hubs with HG and Micro Spline standard, whilst for SRAM systems the XD/XDR standard is available. This way you can be sure that your wheelset fits your drivetrain perfectly.
Axle Standards
At R2BIKE, we exclusively use thru-axles, as they offer several advantages over quick releases. Thru-axles provide higher stiffness and better power transfer, which is particularly advantageous on demanding trails and under high loads. Our wheelsets are available with common thru-axle standards to ensure easy installation and compatibility with your frame.
