RITCHEY handlebars Comp Butano V2 ICR
Almost fifty years ago, Tom Ritchey and a group of like-minded friends spent countless adventurous hours on the remote trails, crumbling asphalt and rough gravel roads that wind through the mountains around Butano State Park in Northern California. Tom still rides these trails today. It was precisely this landscape and the early, pioneering tours there that served as inspiration for the Butano Gravel handlebars.
Since its introduction a few years ago, this extraordinary handlebar has become a popular product for gravel fans and road cyclists. The wide flare of the drops offers adventurous riders significantly more control and safety than traditional road bike handlebars. At the same time, the low drop and short reach ensure a high level of comfort.
The improved version 2 builds on the proven comfort characteristics and adds new features such as internal cable routing and an ergonomic, aerodynamic top bar area for better hand support. The flare of the drops has also been increased and is now 18°, which provides additional comfort and more control.
