Thanks to their lightweight, slotted aluminum rims, the PR 1600 Spline wheels are aimed at riders who like the road ahead to be steeply uphill. With an inner width of 20 millimeters, they also give 28 millimeter wide racing bike tires good shape and good grip at low air pressures. The rim profile is of course tubeless-ready and the matching tubeless valve and tubeless tape are included in the scope of delivery. In order to achieve a more even spoke tension, the PR 1600 wheels are assembled by hand.

DT SwissSpline 350 hubs
The Spline hubs are based on the proven DT Swiss 350 hubs. These impress with their excellent seal and the distinctive sound of the toothed disc freewheel. In addition, the freewheel with 36 locking points per wheel revolution ensures very direct response. DT-Swiss hubs are designed to have the optimal bearing clearance when installed in the bike. It is not necessary to adjust the bearing play.

Pro Lock Technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely after approx. 6 - 7 hours at room temperature. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
