DT SWISS Steckachse VR RWS Plug In Road with lever 12x100 mm E-Thru
The patented RWS wheel mounting system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and easy to use. The plug-in version offers all the advantages of a tool-free mounting of the plug-in axle, if you want. If you prefer the clean look of a screw axis, simply pull the lifting unit and store it in your backpack. Or leave them at home. On the axle is a 6 mm hexagon socket which can be operated with any standard tool. On the lifting unit is also a 6 mm hexagon which can of course also be used as Minitool on the road.

Because there are no plastic parts in the flow of the RWS, the clamping force is independent of the temperature and thus the RWS is 100% disc-brake-proof!
Due to the direct transmission of the lever force to the thread, the RWS can achieve a clamping force of up to 50% higher than with conventional quick-release clamps. This is not only safer, but also increases stiffness, which is particularly noticeable with disc brakes.
