Under the slogan "Built to Last", DT-Swiss is launching the HU 1900 Spline E-Bike wheels on the market. While the majority of DT-Swiss wheels are aimed at the sporty, ambitious rider, the hybrid utility wheels focus on suitability for everyday use and durability for urban and touring use. E-bikes are often used to transport heavy loads, which significantly increases the drive and braking forces acting on the wheels. The reinforced components of the HU 1900 wheels have been designed and tested for this load profile. With a maximum permitted system weight of an incredible 180 kilograms, they easily meet all the requirements that arise.

DT Swiss 370 Hybrid hubs
At the center of the HU 1900 front wheels are the reinforced DT Swiss 370 Hybrid hubs. Thanks to their smooth running and perfectly sealed industrial ball bearings, they guarantee high functionality and durability.

Reinforced rims
The installed rims have a higher and almost box-shaped rim cross-section. The resulting increased rigidity means that they deform less under load. This extends the durability of rims and spokes in the long term.

Reinforced Hybrid 1 spokes
Spoke heads enlarged to 2.34 millimetres ensure consistent load capacity at high torques. Even under dynamic stress on non-ideal surfaces and with the maximum permitted system weight, the spokes are able to withstand the forces that occur. The manual assembly of the wheels also plays a major role in their durability. This guarantees high and uniform spoke tension.

Pro Lock technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly each time.

Note: No tubeless valve is included in the scope of delivery.
