Now that the Eagle components have established themselves on the market, the Americans from SRAM are coming up with the next big coup in 2018 to further optimize mountain bike drivetrains. The DUB technology not only simplifies the combination of crankshaft and bottom bracket, it also ensures greater durability of the bottom bracket. SRAM DUB cranks have a uniform shaft diameter of 28.99 millimetres. Thanks to different variants of the completely redesigned and better sealed DUB bottom bracket, the cranks are compatible with all standard bottom bracket housings. The aluminum crankshafts have also been redesigned, reducing the weight of the DUB cranksets compared to their predecessors.

The Descendant Eagle DUB 6K crankarms are made from 6000 aluminum. They are complemented by the latest X-Sync 2 Direct Mount chainrings. These impress with a significantly smoother running chain and better self-cleaning in muddy conditions.With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is matched to the Eagle chains, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always keep the chain securely in place. The crank is supplied with a 32 tooth chainring.
