Nevertheless, Shimano still managed to make a big leap forward with the Di2 M8200 version. Thanks to modern wireless control, perfect performance, a 12-speed drivetrain and the usual outstanding build quality, there are no limits to your cycling dreams and you have a loyal companion for your adventures.

With this versatile wheelset on your bike, you are perfectly equipped for any terrain. It shines with stability and gives you the necessary safety reserves on fast and rough trails. Shimano relies on high-quality aluminum for the rims. This is the best way to manage the balancing act between durability, weight and an acceptable price. The rim is perfectly finished and its discreetly elegant look is sure to attract envious glances.The surface is also very resistant, so that external influences have little effect on it and the rim is forgiving of the occasional driving error.
Thanks to the enormous inner width of 30 mm, even wide tires are perfectly supported in the rim well, offering you the best grip and comfort. In addition, everything is prepared for tubeless use, which significantly reduces the susceptibility to punctures.
The rims have an asymmetrical rim profile, which enables a more even spoke angle. This optimization of the spoke angle has a number of advantages. The tension on both sides can be better aligned, which is beneficial to the durability of the spokes and the wheel as a whole.

Shimano's own Deore XT hubs rotate in the center. This is the first time the Japanese company has used high-quality industrial bearings, whose high bearing quality and perfect sealing ensure smooth running and a long service life. They are also practically maintenance-free and there is no need for time-consuming adjustment of the bearing play. The decision to use a J-bend flange is ideal for this area of application in particular, as it significantly increases rigidity.
A toothed disk freewheel works on the rear wheel. In addition to its distinctive sound, it has a very small pressure angle of 3.5° and thus reduces the free travel to a minimum.
