Weight purists can't get past it, carefree bikers definitely need it and those who prefer riding to screwing should choose it - the rigid fork. Even in the age of sophisticated suspension technologies, they have not disappeared into the moth box.
And its advantages are obvious. It is maintenance-free, lightweight and enables very direct steering behavior. With this Scott fork, you can replace a 100 mm suspension fork without changing the geometry of your bike. It is made of high-quality HMF UD carbon fibers. These offer the perfect compromise between stiffness, weight and comfort. Despite its bulky appearance, it can therefore also cushion impacts from the ground. The brake hose can be routed internally for a clean look. There are also eyelets for pannier racks on board so that nothing stands in the way of a bikepacking tour.
