Since its first edition, the HighRoad has pursued one goal: to be the ultimate road bike tire. With the third generation, these goals have once again been exceeded. The HighRoad Gen.3 is now even lighter, faster and also offers even greater puncture protection! This is achieved by the lightweight turn-up carcass in combination with the HYPR rubber compound and the K2 puncture protection. All design features are used in both the tubeless-ready and tube-type versions, making the MAXXIS HighRoad Gen.3 a fast and reliable road bike tire for all road surfaces.

HYPR Compound
HYPR is a full silica compound and the most powerful compound for road bike tires from MAXXIS. Compared to the previous road racing compound, HYPR has around 20% less rolling resistance and 20% more grip in the wet. An impressive success is that these improvements have been achieved without compromising the very long service life.

K2
The exclusive K2 fabric offers more puncture protection than normal Kevlar and Vectran. At the same time, it is light and supple and ensures maximum performance and convincing handling.
