The Knog Scout Travel is an anti-theft device that has been specially developed to meet the demands of traveling. This is ensured by the impact-resistant housing made of fiber-reinforced plastic and the IP65-certified water and weather resistance. The smart device has an internal battery that supplies the device with power for up to two months and can be recharged in around four hours via a USB-C port.
Alarm
The best security functions are those that are primarily aimed at preventing the loss of your most important items. Motion sensors in the Scout Travel register any attempted theft. This triggers a loud alarm that is impossible to ignore. At the same time, your iPhone informs you of the motion alarm and allows you to take action to stop the theft if the perpetrator has not yet fled. The alarm can be armed quickly and easily via the Knog Mobile app.
Finder
Where is my luggage? All devices set up via the Knog Mobile app automatically appear in Apple's Find My network. This means that stolen luggage can be tracked down even if it is outside the Bluetooth range of your iPhone. The network uses the connectivity of millions of Apple devices worldwide. Each iPhone keeps an eye out for your stolen luggage and transmits the location anonymously and securely to Apple as soon as your Scout Travel is detected nearby. With Apple's Find My app, you can view and track the last known location of your stolen luggage on a map at any time.
Secure mounting
You attach the Scout Travel directly to your backpack or suitcase with a tamper-proof security cable attachment. This ensures that the device stays in place and can only be removed with a special tool included in the scope of delivery. The scope of delivery includes 2 cables in different lengths to meet every requirement.
No fees
With the Scout Travel you can say goodbye to ongoing subscription fees. Unlike GPS-based trackers, which often incur additional costs, Scout Travel's compatibility with Apple's Find My network means there are no additional charges after purchase.
Privacy protection
Privacy is important to ensure personal freedom and safety. The Knog Scout Travel therefore does not store any location data on the device. Thanks to the connection to Apple's Find My network, all location data is encrypted and transmitted anonymously. This means that neither Knog nor Apple know the location of your luggage.
Store contact details digitally
The days of disposable paper tags are over. Save your contact details directly in the Knog app. By scanning the QR code on the Scout Travel, the contact details can then be retrieved. Which data you want to pass on is up to you and can be changed at any time in the Knog app. If someone scans the QR code and sees your data, they will be asked to send you a message from the contact page. In this case, you will be notified that someone has scanned the tag and contacted you. The message will be sent to you by email.
Remote bell function
You may be familiar with the situation where you have to find your luggage in a pile of similar-looking pieces of luggage. With Scout Travel, this is no longer a problem. Activate the remote bell in the Knog app and find your luggage without any problems.
