Smooth is fast! This is the slogan under which Goodyear is launching the Vector R tire developed for the revolutionary Zipp 303 XPLR wheels. The 40 millimeter wide slick perfectly combines the lowest rolling resistance with outstanding comfort. The Vector R was designed in such a way that it measures 40 millimeters on the 303 XPLR rims with an inner width of 32 millimeters and thus forms an almost seamless transition with the rim profile, which also measures 40 millimeters. This wheel-tyre system thus achieves a clear aerodynamic advantage over conventional rim-tyre combinations, whose rim widths are usually significantly narrower than the tire widths used. In addition, the Vector R XPLR can be driven with significantly less air pressure due to the large inner rim width, without the risk of the tire buckling uncontrollably in fast bends. In practice, this means more grip and significantly reduced vibration losses, which gives you more speed with the same performance even in the worst road conditions and on light gravel tracks, while at the same time reducing fatigue over long distances.

While the slick tread of the Vector R ensures the lowest rolling resistance, the textured pattern on the sidewalls provides good traction in all conditions and the light and supple construction improves riding comfort. The M:Wall reinforced sidewalls provide sufficient puncture protection against cuts and punctures, allowing you to ride at the lowest possible air pressure. The tire beads are suitably dimensioned for easy mounting and a secure hold on Zipp TSS rims.

Dynamic:UHP Compound
With the Dynamic: Silica4 compound, particular attention was paid to low rolling resistance. However, a fast rubber compound should not only do a good job in dry conditions, but also generate stable and secure grip in the wet. Goodyear was able to achieve this balancing act with this rubber compound. The performer for ambitious gravel use.

Tubeless Complete (TC)
The construction developed by Goodyear offers all the advantages of a Tubeless Ready (TR) tire with additional air retention properties. The carcass is provided with a multi-compound material layer, which ensures better air storage capacity and at the same time offers additional puncture and cut protection with minimal additional weight.
