DT SWISS thru axle VR RWS Plug In MTB with lever | 15x110 mm BOOST

The patented RWS wheel attachment system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and easy to use. The plug-in variant offers all the advantages of tool-free mounting of the thru axle, if you want. If you prefer the clean look of a screw axle, simply pull off the lever unit and stow it in the backpack. Or leave them at home. There is a 6 mm hexagon on the axle which can be operated with any standard tool. There is also a 6 mm hexagon on the lever unit which can of course also be used as a mini tool on the go.
Clean and smart: the RWS plug-in.

Because there are no plastic parts in the power flow with the RWS, the clamping force is independent of the temperature and therefore the RWS is 100% suitable for disc brakes!
Due to the direct transfer of the lever force to the thread, the RWS can achieve up to 50% higher clamping force than with conventional quick releases. This is not only safer, but also increases rigidity, which is particularly noticeable with disc brakes.
