CONTINENTAL tubular tire Sprinter Gatorskin 28 x 25 mm DuraSkin SafetySystemBreaker Tubular

This tire has it all. Thanks to the SafetySystem, a Kevlar-reinforced nylon fabric protects the tread and an additional polyamide fabric provides even stronger sidewalls. The Sprinter Gatorskin is not a small tire. It is designed for use in spring classics such as Paris-Roubaix or long tours on roads that are not always perfect.

handmade in Germany
These tires are among the highest quality tires produced by Continental. They are sewn by hand at the factory in Korbach and set special standards in terms of workmanship and quality.

SafetySystem Breaker
It consists of Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric. Puncture- and cut-resistant, yet light and flexible, the tire adapts better to the ground. Without noticeably increasing weight or rolling resistance, it protects the carcass from foreign bodies and contributes to a long tire life. In addition, tires with SafetySystem Breaker offer particularly comfortable riding characteristics.

Duraskin
Tires with DuraSkin® sidewall protection have to be able to take a beating. They are used in the most adverse conditions. On messenger bikes the tires slide along kerbs, on touring bikes they cross continents without wearing through, in racing they have to withstand endurance tests such as Paris-Roubaix. The high-quality polyamide fabric reliably protects the sidewall of the tire and prepares it for the toughest conditions. These tires stand out from the crowd thanks to their brown sidewall.
