This tire has it all. Thanks to the SafetySystem, a Kevlar-reinforced nylon fabric protects the tread and an additional polyamide fabric ensures even stronger sidewalls. Giving up is not a characteristic of the Sprinter Gatorskin. Its area of application is the material-wearing spring classics such as Paris-Roubaix or long tours on roads that are not always perfect.

Safety System Breaker
It consists of Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric. Puncture and cut-resistant, but still light and flexible, the tire adapts better to the ground. Without noticeably increasing weight or rolling resistance, it protects the carcass from foreign objects and contributes to a long tire life. In addition, tires with SafetySystem Breaker offer particularly comfortable driving characteristics.
Duraskin
Tires with DuraSkin® sidewall protection must be able to take a beating. They are used under the most adverse conditions. On messenger bikes, the tires slide along curbs, on touring bikes they cross continents without chafing, in racing they have to withstand endurance tests such as Paris-Roubaix. The high-quality polyamide fabric reliably protects the sidewall of the tire and prepares the tire for the extreme. These tires stand out from the crowd thanks to their brown sidewall.
