NEWMEN Gravel Streem G.62 – Uncompromising Aero Gravel Wheels from the Allgäu

More speed on gravel: with the Gravel Streem G.62, NEWMEN makes a bold statement for ambitious gravel racers. This new aero gravel wheelset was built without compromise for gravel racing, optimised for tyre widths of 45 to 50 mm. The result is a wheelset that brings road-bike aerodynamics to the gravel track – without sacrificing weight. want read more...

Rim Geometry: Deep, Wide, Considered

The G.62 rims measure 62 mm deep, 45 mm wide on the outside and 27 mm on the inside – a combination that is virtually unmatched in the gravel segment. The 27 mm internal width is no coincidence: NEWMEN's extensive testing identified it as the sweet spot for 45–50 mm gravel tyres, still allowing flexible tyre pressure adjustment. The rims are hooked for maximum tyre compatibility and tubeless safety. The wheels are delivered tubeless-ready straight from the factory, complete with rim tape and valves.

Aerodynamics: Wind Tunnel Engineered, Race Proven

The aerodynamic profile was developed through detailed computer simulation and subsequently validated with real-world measurements at the GST wind tunnel in Immenstaad on Lake Constance. Alongside raw drag reduction, NEWMEN placed particular emphasis on minimising steering torque – ensuring the G.62 remains predictable and safe even in gusty crosswinds. At 40 km/h, the wheelset saves approximately 6 watts compared to its predecessor. NEWMEN claims that the G.62, even with a 50 mm tyre mounted, matches the wind tunnel performance of the best aero road wheels on the market.

Vonoa Carbon Spokes & FADE R Hubs

The top-spec version features Vonoa aero carbon spokes paired with NEWMEN's own FADE R hubs. Despite the substantial rim dimensions, the carbon spokes keep the total wheelset weight down to just 1,530 g – a figure that stands out in the deep aero gravel wheel segment. Riders prioritising durability or a lower entry price can opt for the steel-spoke version, coming in at 1,600 g.

Race Proven: Traka 2026 & Final Frontier Patagonia

The G.62 is no laboratory product. Lukas Pöstlberger won the Traka 200 aboard the Streem G.62, while Katharina Kruse relied on the wheels for the epic 2,700 km Final Frontier Patagonia – covering both ends of the gravel racing spectrum. Ultracyclist Seb Breuer adds further proof: approximately 13,000 km in all weather conditions since January 2026, with no crosswind handling issues reported – even for lighter riders.

Made & developed in Germany

Development, testing and assembly of the carbon-spoke version all take place at NEWMEN's headquarters in Wiggensbach in the Allgäu region of Bavaria. NEWMEN operates its own in-house testing facility with custom-built machines, subjecting the wheels to standards far beyond what regulations require – while the industry norm calls for 750,000 load cycles, NEWMEN tests with up to 4.4 million.
