The Zipp 70 Ergo is the affordable alternative to Zipp's SL-70 Ergo handlebar. Equipped with the same lower link shape as its more expensive relative, it also has the same compact dimensions. In contrast to the SL version, the 70 Ergo is made of 6061 aluminum alloy, which makes it slightly heavier.
The top link has been flattened for more comfort in everyday life. This not only creates a more comfortable grip for the hands, but also makes the handlebars more streamlined when fighting the wind. With the short distance of just 70 millimeters between the stem clamp and the brake lever mounts and 128 millimeters of vertical distance from the stem to the handlebar ends, the 70 Ergo is the most compact handlebar in the Zipp range. Zipp also calls this handlebar shape a super short reach and is especially recommended for small riders and hands.
