True to their name, the Zipp XPLR (pronounced Explore) handlebars are ideal for discovering new paths. Developed according to the fit-first philosophy of the Americans, the XPLR handlebars have a special shape to offer a lot of comfort and control on long bike adventures.
The handlebars have a flare angle of 5 °, which is moderate for a gravel bike. This enables a comfortable grip position in the most driven position in the hoods. For demanding road conditions or if you want to let it run right, the XPLR offers a very good opportunity to find the balance on the bike thanks to their very wide lower link grip position and thus give extremely much control. The large width is achieved by an outsweep at the handlebar ends of 11 °. This means that the handlebar ends are about 6 cm further out than the hoods. The shape of the drops has also been optimized for off-road use. A moderate reach of 70 mm ensures a compact sitting position and the drop of only 115 mm allows you to sit upright enough in the lower links to be able to take a central position on the bike on the trail. The XPLR with 3 ° backsweep also ensures a relaxed and ergonomically favorable hand position on the top link.
For a clean look when using a Shimano Di2 gearshift, the XPLR handlebars are compatible with the EW-RS910 junction box built into the handlebar end.
