Tubeless systems require a tight seal between the tire and the rim to keep the air in. You will notice this especially when changing tires. The Vittoria Air-Liner Tool Kit makes mounting and demounting MTB tubeless tires quick and easy. It consists of mounting pliers and a tire lever.
Tire levers
The Vittoria tire levers are strong and durable. The thin, edgeless tips slide easily under the tire and protect the rims. For particularly unruly tires, the tire levers can be attached to the wheel using the spoke hooks. When they are not in use, the tire levers can be put together so that none get lost. Thanks to their small pack size (10x2.5x1 cm), they can also be easily carried in any bag, no matter how small.
Mounting pliers
The patented design of the pliers ensures a gentle but secure grip on the tire, which is necessary when removing the tire bead from the rim. This creates space for the tire levers supplied, which can be inserted between the tire and rim and make further removal much easier. The handles of the pliers are designed so that they can be used as tire levers during mounting and demounting, thus preventing damage to the rim and tire.
