Vision also plays in the top wheel league with the exclusive World Tour version of the Metron SL series, where it regularly sets standards. Developed together with professional racing cyclists, all components are perfectly matched to each other in order to perfect the optimum interplay of stiffness, aerodynamics and low weight. Production is carried out by hand, which guarantees high quality and durability.The Metron SL also scores points with its elegant appearance thanks to the silver decals. The rim height of 45 mm means that this wheelset makes both fast rides on flat terrain and detours into hilly terrain a pleasure.

The rims are made entirely of carbon, and it's not just the look on the scales that will make your heart beat faster, as you can immediately convert your energy into propulsion without any loss when pedaling hard. Nothing is wasted. The special shape has been optimized in the wind tunnel and, together with the blade spokes, reduces air resistance and thus enables higher speeds with less effort. The enormous 21 mm inner width also provides perfect support for wider tires, which prevents them from kinking in fast bends and ensures greater riding stability and better damping capacity. In addition, the rim is of course designed for tubeless systems, allowing you to ride with lower air pressure and further improving comfort and grip. In addition to the excellent workmanship, the self-locking ABS nipples, which use a special adhesive to prevent the spokes from loosening, ensure durability and permanently smooth running.

The hubs are also an in-house development by Vision. With a rather discreet appearance, they impress with their high bearing quality and smooth running. Their body is forged from high-quality aluminum, which results in high rigidity. On the rear wheel, a toothed disc freewheel with conically arranged discs ensures uninhibited propulsion. With this, 72 engagement points interlock and reduce the free travel to an incredible 5°. In addition, spiral-milled guide grooves on the freehub body, on which the two toothed pulleys sit, ensure perfect functioning.
In order to reduce the susceptibility to punctures, the straight-pull design was chosen. This eliminates the spoke bend, which is prone to breakage. The 2:1 lacing is also interesting. This makes it possible to reduce the number of spokes, which saves weight without negatively affecting stability.
