The Shuriken derailleur cage from Token is a unique way to boost performance. The large derailleur pulleys - with 12 teeth on top and 19 teeth on the Bottom - significantly reduce the chain’s wrap radius, resulting in lower friction. This lets you save a few watts of power and convert them into forward momentum.
But it’s not just the optimized chain guidance that reduces the effort required when pedaling. The ceramic rollers in the TBT ball bearings are extremely hardened and rotate virtually frictionlessly on their raceway. They’re also immersed in a special grease mixture that prevents water from penetrating and further improves rolling performance. The aluminum derailleur pulleys not only give the system a unique look; their PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating ensures smooth chain operation and keeps the chain reliably on the sprockets at all times, even on rough terrain.
The cage itself is made of carbon fiber in a beautiful 3K design. The resulting stiffness ensures that shifting commands are executed precisely and without delay. Furthermore, the material significantly reduces weight. The cage’s size allows for the use of cassettes with a 34-tooth sprocket.

Maintenance
To maintain performance and longevity, it is important to carefully maintain the bearings. Not only should dirt and debris be removed regularly, but it is also important to apply special oil to the bearings.
Note
When traveling, please remember to disassemble the entire rear derailleur if necessary, as very few bike transport bags offer enough space for the system.
