SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur 12-speed | 52T

The Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brain of the groupset and has been specially developed for optimum shifting performance with an electric motor. Shifting under load and on rough surfaces is now even more precise. This gives you even more confidence in the bike under extreme loads and you can concentrate solely on the trail. The new overload clutch provides better protection for the rear derailleur in the event of a fall. It briefly decouples the rear derailleur under extreme loads so that it can avoid the load and the electric motor is protected from damage. However, the rear derailleur immediately jumps back into the engaged gear. As an extremely positive side effect, the rear derailleur suspension and the derailleur hanger are also better protected in the event of a fall. In addition, a 10 millimeter shorter derailleur arm protects the rear derailleur from contact with the ground. For more chain wrap and therefore better shifting performance, the parallelogram has been moved slightly further forward.

NOTE: Contrary to the illustration, the rear derailleur is supplied without a battery.
