With the X01 group SRAM introduces a new bolt circle diameter with 94 mm. The chainrings have as XX1 chainrings on the so-called X-Sync tooth profile in which every second tooth is executed clearly thicker. The teeth minimize the lateral play of the chain on the chainring and improve the guidance of the chain significantly. It is therefore usually omitted chain guides!

These steel chainrings fit both the X01 and the X1 group of SRAM
