The new 1x specific Rival XPLR rear derailleur has been specially developed for the needs of modern Gravel riders. In combination with the right XPLR cassette with 10-44 teeth, you have enough bandwidth to climb every climb. Narrow gear steps on the smaller sprockets help you to maintain your comfortable cadence at high speeds. In-house technologies that have been tried and tested over many years ensure the necessary reliability in use under rough off-road conditions. The electronic radio eTap shift logic ensures intuitive shifting and easy setup. You can personalize the switching behavior via the AXS APP. Enlarged jockey wheels with the tried-and-tested X-Sync Narrow-Wide tooth profile keep the chain securely in place, even under the toughest shocks. In addition, a spring clutch is used to dampen vibrations. The proven SRAM eTap battery (not included in the scope of delivery) provides the necessary power, with which you can operate the rear derailleur for over 1000 kilometers or around 60 hours of riding. An ANT+ transmitter integrated in the rear derailleur enables communication between your bike computer and the rear derailleur. Among other things, you can display the charge status of the battery and the current gear in your cockpit.
NOTE: The rear derailleur is only compatible with SRAM eTap AXS shifters!
