The new 1-speed specific RED XPLR rear derailleur has been specially developed for the needs of modern gravel riders. In combination with the matching XPLR cassette with 10-44 teeth, it gives you enough range to climb any climb. Narrow gear steps on the smaller sprockets help you to maintain your comfortable cadence at high speeds. In-house technologies that have been tried and tested over many years ensure the necessary reliability for use in rough off-road conditions. The electronic wireless eTap shifting logic ensures intuitive shifting processes and simple setup. Enlarged derailleur pulleys with ceramic bearings and proven X-Sync Narrow-Wide tooth profile keep the chain securely in place, even in the toughest conditions. In addition, the speed-dependent Orbit-Fluid fluid damper is used, which effectively prevents the chain from vibrating on the lower derailleur pulley without generating unnecessary chain tension.The necessary power is supplied by the proven SRAM eTap battery (not included), with which you can operate the rear derailleur for over 1000 kilometers or around 60 riding hours. An ANT+ transmitter integrated in the rear derailleur enables communication between your bike computer and the rear derailleur, allowing you to display the battery charge status and the current gear in your cockpit, among other things.

NOTE: The rear derailleur is only compatible with SRAM eTap AXS shifters!
