New, optimized design with a large friction surface for more braking power and less braking fading. The newly designed aluminum spider with 7-point mount the friction ring also ensures better heat dissipation and less weight. By reducing the vibrations of the disc when braking, the noise was reduced again.
The rounded edges on the top of the pane minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the UCI cycling world association. Another advantage is that they make it easier to install the impeller because the rounded top prevents jamming in the brake caliper.
