With their slim UD carbon levers, the 990 brake levers have excellent low-weight aerodynamics. But what sets them apart from other brake levers on the market is the possibility to adjust the pads on the brake body by up to 8 millimeters using a hexagon socket screw on the lever. Thus, the often hard-to-reach brake bodies on triathlon and time trial machines can be fine-tuned from the handlebars. Clamping via an expander located in the handlebar ensures a smooth transition between the brake lever and the base bar.
