SHIMANO SLX shifters SL-M7100 2x | I-SPEC EV
As one of the contact points, the shifters are an important link between rider and bike. The 2x shifter is a completely new development and impresses with its outstanding ergonomics and low weight. In contrast to conventional 2x shifters, the M7100 only requires one shift lever. To shift up to the large leaf, the lever is pushed forward with the thumb and engages in this position. To downshift, the lock can be released by pressing the thumb again or pushing it back with the index finger and the chain is guided safely onto the small chainring. The M7100 shift lever with its revised inner workings also shifts faster thanks to Instant Release. The shift cable is released immediately when the lever is pressed, allowing the rider to react even more quickly to changing road conditions.
With the I-Spec EV version, the lever can be attached to Deore XT M7100 brake levers to save space. In addition, mounting using the new standard offers a 14 millimeter wide lateral adjustment range and the shifter can also be rotated by 60 degrees.
