SHIMANO Pedals XTR PD-M9220 SPD Enduro

The XTR pedal in combination with the SPD mechanism is probably the best-known pedal-to-shoe connection in the world. Countless attempts to copy the system, circumvent the patent or put something better "under" the feet have failed one after the other. This pedal is undisputedly in the middle of the podium. The self-cleaning effect of these pedals has always been the measure of all things and will probably remain so.
Compared to its predecessor, the contact area has increased. This gives you a more stable stance on the pedal, which in turn gives you better control over your bike. Even when unclicked, you have a good grip due to the larger surface area. In addition, there are four pins on each side that hold in place what needs to be held in place. Clicked in and out, these pins give you grip, and grip means safety and speed.
The click mechanism has also been revised, the result of the adjustment is an even easier click-in and thus this process is smoother.
