With its chain line of 51.1 mm, the GRX 1-speed crank creates space for wide tires in the frame and positions the chainring optimally for the 12-speed cassette. Nevertheless, the Q-factor has remained pleasantly narrow at 151 mm. In conjunction with the compatible Shimano 12-speed cassettes with 10-51 or 10-45 teeth, the GRX drive offers you the option of choosing between a maximum range for the steepest ramps and a narrower gear ratio for flatter terrain.
