SHIMANO Deore XT Crank Direct Mount 1x12 FC-M8100-1 | without chainring
With the M8100 Deore XT crank, Shimano takes a big step forward in several aspects. Probably the most outstanding innovation: The M8100 is designed for direct mount chainrings. Thanks to the special DCE + Narrow Wide profile of the teeth and the Hyperglide + chain design, the 52 mm offset of the chainrings is suitable for both BOOST and standard rear hubs. Available are the matching Direct Mount chainrings with 28 to 36 teeth.
When setting up the crank, Shimano continues to rely on the proven Hollowtech-2 technology with 24 millimeter crankshaft. Thanks to design optimization, the current generation of cold-forged aluminum cranks has further reduced weight while increasing rigidity.
