The Rick XC Pro is the new secret weapon in the battle for the podium in the Cross-Country World Cup. Designed for the fastest XC athletes in the world, the tire combines maximum grip and low rolling resistance with improved protection against the dreaded snakebite - thanks to a reinforced transition area between the center and shoulder blocks.

Ever more technically demanding track profiles with fast passages, a higher power density among the riders and wider inner widths of current wheels sparked Schwalbe's ambition to develop a new ace up its sleeve shortly after the 2019 championship. The first prototypes were distributed to various teams and tested extensively in the following season. Schwalbe repeatedly gathered detailed feedback in order to further improve the tire and adapt it perfectly to the requirements of the cross-country elite. The result is a tire with even lower rolling resistance than the Racing Ralph. To achieve this, the tread design has been revised and now combines the best characteristics of the Racing Ralph and Thunder Burt. The tread depth has been adjusted so that it lies exactly between the two models. Thanks to the pronounced lugs, the Rick XC Pro offers improved cornering grip and more grip than the Thunder Burt. As a result, the Rick XC Pro works on most World Cup tracks in almost all conditions, making it a flexible all-rounder. While the choice of the world's top riders was often Racing Ralph at the front and Thunder Burt at the rear, it is now: Rick XC Pro at the front and Rick XC Pro at the rear.

Schwalbe Super Race
Super Race is an innovative tire carcass technology that provides a direct feel for the ground and is characterized by precise handling. The special construction is based on a thin 67-EPI sidewall, whose close-meshed fabric ensures a low weight and a supple structure. This makes the tire particularly flexible and adapts perfectly to different terrain conditions. A fine protective layer from bead to bead provides additional protection against cuts and punctures without compromising weight or flexibility.

Schwalbe ADDIX Speed
With ADDIX Speed, Schwalbe has developed a high-performance rubber compound that is specially tailored to the requirements of cross-country and marathon racing. It is characterized by maximum efficiency and minimum rolling resistance and is perfect for racing conditions on dry and firm surfaces. The compound reduces the overall weight of the tire and enables fast acceleration. Despite the focus on speed, the compound impresses with its long service life.

Schwalbe TLR
A new monofilament sidewall fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables uncomplicated tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is necessary, but the fitting itself is easy. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are a thing of the past with Schwalbe TLR tires.
