ROTOR crankshaft ALDHU Carbon / 3D+ | VEGAST for racing bikes
With the ALDHU Carbon, ROTOR brings the lightest crank in the company's history to the market. The name is an abbreviation for the legendary Tour de France climb from Alpe d'Huez, on which Carlos Sastre laid the foundation stone for the overall Tour victory with Rotor Q-Rings in 2008, giving ROTOR one of the greatest victories in the company's history.
The ALDHU crank system has a modular structure for the greatest possible adaptability. The chain line line for disc and rim brake hubs can be adjusted using 2 different shafts and the 110 millimeter 4-hole spider can be exchanged for ROTOR's Direct Mount chainring combinations. For the optimal setting of the oval ROTOR Q-Rings chainrings, the OCP system (Optimum Chainring Position) has been further refined. The position of the chainrings can be adjusted in 1-degree increments using a combination of different positions of the crank arms on the crankshaft and a finely ratcheted spider mount. Only a 10 mm 6-point key is required to adjust and assemble the chainrings and the crank.
The shafts are designed as BB30 with an outer diameter of 30 mm and can be used in frames with BSA, BBright (Cervélo) and BB30 bottom brackets via the appropriate bottom bracket.
