The BoXXer is an imposing sight thanks to its 38 mm stanchions alone. Technically refined and optimized over the years in various generations, it is now at home on the winners' podiums around the globe.
But how exactly is this possible? Through the targeted further development of existing technologies and the integration of new optimizations, the guys at SRAM have managed to raise traction, control and therefore your speed to a new level.
In detail, all modernizations have been designed around the proven 38 mm stanchions. The most striking feature is the Linear XL technology, which makes your fork respond as smoothly as you would normally expect from steel springs. A low breakaway torque and smooth spring behavior at the beginning of the travel, supportive in the middle and with a bump stop at the end for perfect control. The smallest bumps and vibrations are eliminated by up to 20% thanks to the ButterCups and yet your fork is always high enough in its travel to offer you sufficient safety and reserves even on the steepest sections of the trail. The well-known, CNC-machined and anodized crown not only looks outrageously good, it also saves weight, is stable and directly implements your every movement on the handlebars.
But since looks and suspension aren't everything a fork needs to be able to do, the Charger 3.2 comes into play. Specially tailored to the requirements of gravity sports, it ensures that you always have everything under control, no matter how rough the situation. Thanks to the precisely adjustable low- and high-speed compression stages and the adjustable low-speed rebound stage, you are guaranteed to find the perfect setup for your needs.
Or to put it simply, the BoXXer Ultimate will take you straight to the top step of the podium.
38 mm chassis
Thanks to the 38 mm chassis, the fork has a good balance of stiffness and control.
CNC crown
Lightweight, milled and anodized crown for a first-class look and durability. The scope of delivery includes a short and a high crown to cover all head tube lengths.
Maxle Stealth 20x110 mm BOOST
Very lightweight thru axle that can be fitted and removed with a 6 mm hexagon socket. In addition to a clean look, it also saves some weight on the unsprung mass. With 20x110 mm BOOST, the brake disk sits further out and the flange distance is wider compared to the previous 20x110 mm hubs.
DebonAir Linear XL
With the new LinearXL air spring, you experience a smooth, precisely calculable feel while riding - supported by a bump stop for maximum control at the end of the travel.
Butterwagon technology
ButterWagonTech is a technology that is used specifically in RockShox Ultimate forks. It ensures that the bushings are continuously and evenly supplied with oil, which reduces friction and keeps the fork's performance stable throughout the entire period between service intervals.
ButterCups
ButterCups filter 20% of high-frequency vibrations. This significantly reduces hand and arm fatigue, so you feel fresher for longer and have more control.
Charger 3.2 RC2
The Charger 3.2 RC2 shock with the newly tuned rebound and compression settings, optimized for the LinearXL air spring, delivers virtually silent performance. So you can fully focus on the track ahead.
Bottomless tokens
Here you can easily vary the air volume of your fork with optionally available tokens (volume spacers) and thus adapt the spring characteristic to your riding style.
SKF Ultra-Low-Friction-Seals
The extremely low-friction wiper seals ensure long-lasting fork performance and a low breakaway torque.
Maxima 920
The best suspension needs the best oil. Maxima 920 is designed to reduce suspension wear, friction and noise.
