The Super Deluxe Ultimate has been revised and optimized in many details. Thanks to the very wide adjustment range, the shock can be installed and ridden in many frames without having to compromise on function.
The LinearXL air spring offers you consistent and optimal suspension behavior at all times. It responds sensitively and with minimal breakaway torque from the very first millimeter and provides perfect support in the mid-stroke range. The progression can be adjusted to your needs in next to no time with the new O-ring tokens. The end of the travel is kept under control with the Jounce Bottom Out Bumper so you can safely land even the highest drops or longest jumps. In combination with the Hydraulic Bottom Out, the result is a landing as soft as your pillow.
The fully independently adjustable high and low speed compression give you control when you need it and the Threshold lever creates efficiency when it's time to go back up. The adjustable rebound rounds off the package perfectly.
Last but not least, the Maxima Plush Damping Fluid reduces friction within the system to a minimum and helps to reduce damping noise.
LinearXL
The LinearXL air spring allows you to adjust the shock to your needs. It has a buttery smooth response, delivers the same performance day after day and gives you the security you need when things get a little steeper.
RC2T
The RC2T damper offers a fully independently adjustable high and low speed compression setting. You can also adjust the rebound to suit your riding preferences and increase efficiency when riding uphill thanks to the Threshold lever. The compression adjusters are numbered to make it easier to find your perfect setting.

Perfectly matched to the forks with the Charger 3.2 damper.
Base Valve
Reduction of IFP forces by 40%. Smooth response and optimum function are guaranteed.

Jounce bottom-out
A large bump stop that prevents uncontrolled bottoming out at the end of the travel. In combination with the Hydraulic Bottom Out, nothing stands in the way of the perfect landing.
Hydraulic bottom out
With the help of a needle that controls the oil flow during the piston stroke, the Hydraulic Bottom Out kicks in in the last 20% of the suspension travel and saves you the hard bottoming out on impact without sacrificing responsiveness or traction. The Jounce Bottom Out Bumper is the final stop when things get a little harder.
SAG Gradients
If you don't set up your suspension correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. With RockShox, the markings for the exact adjustment of your suspension components are printed directly on the suspension, saving you a lot of time when setting up.
O-ring token
New adjustment system. Instead of the usual tokens, you can easily adjust the progression with an O-ring.
Maxima Plush Damping Fluid
The best suspension needs the best oil. Maxima Plush is designed to reduce suspension wear, internal friction and noise.
