ROCKSHOX Deluxe Nude RLC3 Debon Air Progressive shock | Scott Spark / Spark RC | 2022+
The RockShox Deluxe Nude shock was developed in collaboration with the Scott development team specifically to meet the requirements of the best riders in the World Cup. In combination with the Scott Twinlock lever, you have three different settings for your damping and air spring.
Descend
Scott's proprietary Nude shock has two positive air chambers. In Descend mode, both chambers are open, creating a larger chamber volume. As a result, the entire rear wheel travel is available to you. Both the fork and the shock are 100% optimized for downhill performance, taking into account the air spring and damping.
Traction Control
When you switch from fully open Descend mode to Traction Control mode, an air chamber is closed, reducing the effective travel of the shock. This requires two changes: an increase in damping and an increase in the progressivity of the spring characteristic. One change without the other leads to a drastic loss of performance.
Lockout
In lockout mode, the hardest of the three suspension settings, the suspension travel is blocked - ideal when total efficiency is required. Whether on gravel climbs or on the way to the trail entrance, the front and rear lockout ensure that you save all your energy for the descent.
Counter Measure
Thanks to Counter Measure technology, the breakaway torque of your shock is reduced to a minimum. Small bumps turn into buttery smooth sections and you always have perfect traction.
DebonAir Progressive
It's ok to be soft. The DebonAir technology has an extremely low breakaway torque to work as sensitively as possible right from the start. The first third of the suspension travel is designed to be particularly soft so that the rest can be used as linearly as possible and to absorb small bumps perfectly even in the mid-travel range. A late-onset end progression reliably prevents bottoming out. All this together creates more traction and perfect control.
SAG Gradients
If you don't adjust your suspension elements correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. With RockShox, the markings for the exact adjustment of your suspension components are printed directly on them, saving you a lot of time when setting them up.
