The name says it all: the Sculpture stem handlebar unit is a visual highlight on every modern race bike. With its flat, aerodynamic profile, it not only cuts through the air with minimal resistance, its ingenious design also helps you to ride in a more aerodynamic position on the bike. This is primarily achieved by the extra-long reach of 90 millimeters, which gives you more contact surface on the forearms in the aero-hood position (forearms parallel to the ground). The better support on the arms significantly relieves the back muscles. The narrow handlebar width of 360 or 380 millimetres in the hoods reduces the frontal area of the rider and bike system and thus reduces air resistance at a crucial point. So that you don't have to compromise on bike control, the large flare angle of 9 degrees offers plenty of control and the best power transfer in the drops. Another special feature of the Sculpture cockpit is the minimalist grip pattern on the top bar, which is intended to improve grip and ergonomics together with the drop-shaped top bar design. Despite its flat design, the handlebar-stem unit weighs just 320 grams.
For a seamless transition to the frame, you will find matching 3D-printed headset adapters for a variety of established high-end frames in our store. The cable routing is of course fully integrated through the handlebars and stem.
