SmartGravity Compound
This rubber compound has been developed for modern riding styles and high speeds. The softer inherent damping provides the rider with controlled feedback from the ground. The addition of lignin, a natural additive patented by Pirelli, has significantly improved the mechanical properties of the rubber, resulting in more consistent performance over the entire life of the tire without sacrificing robustness

HardWall construction
The multiple reinforcements embedded in the carcass provide bead-to-bead puncture protection. They not only increase structural reliability, but also improve support and stability at low air pressures. An additional hard rubber insert directly above the tire bead provides additional reliability for an aggressive riding style.
