With the new generation of Pirelli's high-end racing bike tires, the Italians are setting new standards. The tire was developed using the extensive experience of over 100 years in the motorsport sector and the accumulated know-how from the cycling sector. The use of a new carcass has improved the riding characteristics in all areas. Rolling resistance in particular has been reduced by 24% compared to its predecessor. The improved puncture protection also makes the P Zero Race TLR an all-purpose weapon for everything from fast training rides to racing at World Tour level. Another new feature is the relocation of production to Italy.

SmartEVO
The SmartEVO compound has a new composition that improves the already outstanding performance of the previous racing compounds. Experience from motorsport competitions and input from World Tour winners has resulted in the best road bike compound ever.

Speedcore carcass
The Speedcore carcass consists of a thin, airtight layer and a rubber compound of aramid particles that covers the inner part of the tire. The extremely flexible rubber compound makes the tire smoother and rolls faster. The aramid particles increase the all-round puncture protection compared to the previous version. The carcass is completed by a nylon fabric with 120 TPI and aramid breaker puncture protection.

Tubeless-Ready TLR
The new Tubeless-Ready carcass has been developed to resist punctures without compromising the weight of the tire. A strong yet supple structure with multiple cut-resistant plies.

Note: This tire is not approved for use on hookless rims.
