PARK TOOL PRS-25 Team Issue kickstand
The talented craftsmen Howard Hawkins and Art Engstrom from St. Paul in Minnesota loved to find solutions to problems. In the 1950s, bicycles were much simpler to construct and maintain. If a bicycle mechanic carried out repairs, the bicycle would simply have been turned upside down. Hawkins and Engstrom, however, wanted to make this work easier and developed the forefather of all modern assembly stands, the PRS-1. Almost 60 years later, the PRS-25 was launched on the market. Its low weight, compact pack size and quick assembly and disassembly using quick-release fasteners make it the perfect travel companion. Despite its small footprint of 92 x 92 x 115 cm and low weight, it is designed for a maximum load capacity of 45 kg. The hexagonal main tubes of the frame are made of high-quality 6063 T6 aluminum and ensure high stability. The micro-adjust quick-release fastener can be rotated through 360°. This allows the bike to be aligned in any conceivable position and even seat posts with a diameter of just 22 mm can be clamped. To ensure comfortable working, it is possible to adjust the height of the assembly stand between 119 and 152 cm.
Please note:
The assembly stand is supplied disassembled. However, it is easy to assemble thanks to the detailed instructions.
PARK TOOL
Park Tool has been manufacturing special tools for bicycles since 1963. In their bike store in Minneapolis / St. Paul, Howard Hawkins and Art Engstrom were unable to find any suitable tools to repair the increasingly complex technology on bicycles and, in their "hands on" mentality, built many things themselves. The brand is now the world's largest manufacturer of tools, multi-tools, pumps, stands and much more. With around 4000 products, Park Tool places high demands on uncompromising quality, function and innovation. This is exactly what makes the brand the first choice for professional and private bicycle mechanics all over the world. There is now hardly a bicycle workshop without the iconic blue tool from Park Tool.
