Description
PARK TOOL repair stand PRS-25 Team Issue
Skilled craftsmen Howard Hawkins and Art Engstrom from St. Paul, Minnesota, USA loved solving problems. In the 1950s, bicycles were even easier to design and maintain. If a bicycle mechanic was doing repairs, the bicycle would simply have been flipped and turned upside down. However, Hawkins and Engstrom wanted to make this work easier and developed the forefather of all modern assembly stands, the PRS-1. Almost 60 years later, the PRS-25 comes onto the market. Its low weight, compact pack size and quick assembly and disassembly using quick-release fasteners make it the perfect travel companion. Despite the small footprint of 92 x 92 x 115 cm and the low weight, it is designed for a maximum load of 45 kg. The hexagonal main tubes of the frame are made of high-quality 6063 T6 aluminum and ensure high stability. The Micro-Adjust quick-release fastener can be rotated 360°. This allows the bike to be aligned in any conceivable position and even seat posts with a diameter of only 22 mm can be clamped. To ensure comfortable working, it is possible to adjust the height of the assembly stand between 119 and 152 cm.
A notice:
The assembly stand is delivered dismantled. Thanks to the detailed instructions, assembly is easy to do.
