The Maxxis Wetscream is the ultimate tire for downhill riders, performing particularly well on soft trails and deep mud. Thanks to its deep-grip lugs, it offers exceptional grip, while the generous spacing between the lugs ensures effective self-cleaning and thus provides lasting, reliable grip. The Wetscream tire literally calls for mud and sludge!

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless installation is successful on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.

Note from the manufacturer: Maxxis strongly advises against the use of sealants containing ammonia. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used. Maxxis recommends the use of Tire Plasma tire sealant.

Downhill Casing (DH)
The Maxxis downhill tires are used in exactly the same construction by the most successful DH riders. Double 60TPI carcass plies and butyl inserts in the sidewall above the tire bead are the basis of the tires that have won the most downhill races in recent years.
