The Goodyear XPLR Slick is part of a revolutionary wheel-tyre system whose tread pattern has been specially developed to work perfectly with the ultra-wide ZIPP 303 XPLR wheels with an inner rim width of 32 millimetres. The tire was designed in such a way that it measures 40 millimetres on the 303 XPLR and thus forms an almost seamless transition with the rim profile, which also measures 40 millimetres. This wheel-tyre system thus achieves a clear aerodynamic advantage over conventional gravel rim-tyre combinations, whose rim widths are usually significantly narrower than the tire widths used. In addition, the XPLR Slick can be ridden with significantly less air pressure due to the large inner rim width, without the risk of the tire buckling uncontrollably in fast bends. In practice, this means more grip and significantly reduced vibration losses, which gives you more speed on rough gravel tracks with the same performance and at the same time reduces fatigue on long distances.

With its minimalist tread pattern, the XPLR Slick is the right choice for dry track conditions on fast, well-rolling gravel tracks. Its smooth center provides an extremely fast rolling performance, while the texture and side lugs give you grip and a secure cornering feel. The light and supple construction improves riding comfort. The M:Wall reinforced sidewalls provide sufficient puncture protection against cuts and bruises, allowing you to ride with the lowest possible air pressure. The tire beads are suitably dimensioned for easy mounting and a secure hold on Zipp TSS rims.

Dynamic:UHP Compound
With the Dynamic: Silica4 compound, particular attention was paid to low rolling resistance. However, a fast rubber compound should not only do a good job in dry conditions, but also generate stable and safe grip in the wet. Goodyear was able to achieve this balancing act with this rubber compound. The performer for ambitious gravel use.

Tubeless Complete (TC)
The construction developed by Goodyear offers all the advantages of a Tubeless Ready (TR) tire with additional air retention properties. The carcass is provided with a multi-compound material layer, which ensures better air storage capacity and at the same time offers additional puncture and cut protection with minimal additional weight.
