Up to 90 days (with solar) in smartwatch mode and 320 hours with GPS (with solar) are possible with the Garmin Enduro 3.
SATIQ
SatIQ technology dynamically adjusts the mode to achieve optimal positioning and save battery.
TOPO
Always on the right track. With TopoActive maps and NextFork map cues, you can keep track of the terrain.
POWER MANAGER
See how different settings and sensors affect the watch's battery life. Then you can quickly make changes to make the battery last longer.
TRAIL RUN VO2MAX
Trail run VO2max calculates the cardiovascular fitness level of trail runners, adjusting the results based on different terrain and terrain conditions that can affect running performance.
ULTRARUN APP
With the new Ultra Run activity, breaks at aid stations can be recorded via the LAP button and later analyzed in the Garmin Connect app.
CLIMBPRO
This function provides detailed information on upcoming climbs including incline, distance and elevation gain. When trail running, this information is also made available on the downhill.
RUCKING ACTIVITY
A special rucking activity profile that records the carrying of additional weight while walking or running. This profile allows you to enter the weight of your backpack to measure the associated physical exertion more precisely.
ULTRA RUN APP
With the Ultra Run activity, the time spent at a supply station or checkpoint can be recorded automatically or via the LAP button and evaluated later.
MTB DYNAMICS
Save the details of each ride with mountain bike metrics and specific grit and flow data. This data is used to assess how difficult the trail is and how smooth your riding style is on descents so that you have values that you can exceed next time.
ENDURANCE VALUE
This value shows the development of your endurance and the ability to complete longer efforts, taking into account all recorded sporting activities. Among other things, your short and long-term training loads and your VO2max value are used to measure the progress of your endurance across all sports.
HILL SCORE
The Hill Score shows you your development in uphill running, based on your training history and your VO2max. In addition, a value is calculated for your ability to run steep climbs and for your running endurance on long climbs.
TERRAIN SHADING
Terrain shading helps you to develop better situational awareness on the mountain. Use the shading to identify steeper sections where you will find it harder to make progress or flatter sections where you will find it easier.
WEATHER MAPS
The weather map overlay gives you information on precipitation, cloud cover, temperature and wind so that you can make even better decisions during your outdoor activities. In combination with your smartphone and an active data connection, you will always receive the latest weather data directly on your device.
TRAINING APP
The training app for your Garmin sports watch makes it easier for you to organize your training for all your sports. The app shows you the daily training recommendations as well as the training sessions created or downloaded in Garmin Connect. You can also view the history of your completed workouts directly on the sports watch.
HEAT AND ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT
Prepare for any environment. Find out how your body adapts to different conditions with heat and altitude acclimatization.
OVERVIEW OF TRAINED MUSCLES
The overview of trained muscles already familiar from the strength training app can now also be displayed after HIIT, cardio and Pilates activities. You can display the overview directly on the watch or alternatively in Garmin Connect.
ACUTE-CHRONIC LOAD RATIO
The acute-chronic load ratio compares your acute training load with the chronic training load. The acute training load is the average load of the last 10 days, the chronic load is the average of the last 35 days. From the resulting ratio, you can draw conclusions about your training, avoid overloading and optimally control your training load, for example in recovery weeks.
PHYSIOCHECK
View advanced training values that include running efficiency data, heat and altitude adjusted VO2max, a recovery guide and more.
RECOVERY GUIDE
It is very important that your body has time to recover between training sessions. After each workout, the integrated recovery guide will tell you how long you should recover before another hard workout.
TRAINING READINESS
Training readiness combines your current training load with other health data such as recovery, sleep and stress and individually assesses your readiness for the next training session.
MORNING REPORT
The Morning Report shows you a summary of your sleep and HRV status as soon as you wake up and provides you with your daily training recommendations.
DAILY TRAINING SUGGESTIONS
Daily training suggestions for running and cycling provide training instructions that take you and your fitness level into account. The suggestions are based on current data on training load and training condition.
MULTI-SATELLITE SUPPORT
Use multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) to get better positioning in more challenging environments than when using GPS only.
NAVIGATION SENSORS
Navigate the next trail with ABC sensors, including an altimeter for elevation data, a barometer to monitor the weather and a 3-axis electronic compass.
HEART RATE MEASUREMENT
The optimized technology for heart rate measurement determines the intensity of your fitness activities as well as your heart rate variability and then calculates your stress level. This even works underwater - without a heart rate chest strap.
PULSE OX-SENSOR
Monitor your blood oxygen saturation with the Pulse Ox Sensor and see how the oxygen saturation of your blood changes with altitude. Now you can see how well your body absorbs oxygen.
ANALYSIS OF BREATHING DYNAMICS
This function analyzes the change in breathing patterns and refers to a physiological metric that is measured especially during activities with heart rate and breathing monitoring. Garmin uses this metric to detect sudden or unusual changes in breathing rhythm that may indicate physical or mental stress, illness or changes in training status.
SMART NOTIFICATIONS
Don't miss anything that's important to you: Receive your notifications for calls, appointments and much more when paired with a compatible device.
SECURITY AND TRACKING FUNCTIONS
If you don't feel safe or your watch has detected an accident, your location will be sent to emergency contacts thanks to emergency assistance and accident notification.
EXTRA BRIGHT FLASHLIGHT
To help you find your way in the dark, there is an integrated, extra-bright LED flashlight. It is twice as bright as the Fenix 7X and lights up in either red or white with an intelligent light mode.
SWIM WORKOUTS
New swim workouts help you optimize your training in the pool.
Define intensity and speed goals and adapt your training to the pool size.
GARMIN COACH
Prepare for your next race, train for a milestone or simply improve your fitness with adaptive Coach or pre-built training plans. Garmin Coach offers customized training plans that adapt to your progress and goals in real time. You can use your plans for different distances and fitness goals such as 5K, 10K or marathons. Pre-built training plans also offer structured programs that are tailored to your needs and goals - be it endurance, speed or general fitness.
GARMIN SHARE
Share your planned routes, workouts and positions quickly and easily with other compatible Garmin devices.
MAP MANAGER
Don't feel like updating the map via Garmin Express on your PC? No problem - with the map manager, maps can be easily updated and synchronized via WLAN.
PASSCODE
Protect your sensitive data with a passcode so that no one else can access it. The smartwatch automatically recognizes when it is removed from the wrist and then requires the code to be entered for further use.
Garmin is one of the global market leaders in the field of mobile navigation and satellite communication. Founded in 1989 with five employees in the United States, the company now has over 9,000 employees worldwide and has established itself through the development of innovative products in the field of navigation and communication. To date, over 43 million Garmin devices have been sold, underlining the trust placed in the brand. The name "Garmin" is made up of the first names of the two founders, Gary Burrell and Dr. Min Kao, and reflects the close partnership and innovative spirit that has characterized the company from the very beginning.
A milestone was the launch of the GPS 100 in 1991, a navigation system for boaters and pilots. It was the first of its kind and marked the beginning of Garmin's focus on GPS technology.
In 2003, Garmin launched the Forerunner 201, the first GPS sports watch specifically for runners. This device was the first to integrate GPS technology into a wearable watch and enabled precise measurements of speed, distance and distance traveled. The Forerunner 201 paved the way for today's generation of smartwatches, which not only serve as powerful training aids, but also offer comprehensive functions for monitoring health and general well-being.
Garmin works constantly and with great commitment to further develop each smartwatch through regular software updates and to equip it with new functions. These updates not only fix bugs, but also bring innovative features and contribute to an ever-improving user experience. It is therefore advisable to update your new acquisition with the latest software immediately after unpacking it. This will ensure that all the functions and improvements described are available to you right from the start.
