Ready to go
With the Edge Explore you don't lose any time. Setting up the bike computer is easy and you can use it for tours right out of the box. If you can see the necessary navigation instructions at a glance, you won't miss the great view. Therefore, the Edge Explore has been equipped with a 3-inch display that is bright and easy to read - in sunlight, on cloudy days and even in the rain. The touchscreen is intuitive to use and quick to respond. By using all current satellite systems (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou), an optimal position determination is possible at any time, even under difficult conditions, so that you are never blind on the road.
Toward the adventure
With the Edge Explore you can lose yourself in your adventure without losing your way. A European bike map is already pre-installed and takes you to almost all destinations - on roads through beautiful landscapes, to restaurants and bike shops. Routes are created using Trendline Popularity Routing, which means billions of kilometers of cycling data are included. So you can find your way around like a local on the routes and paths that are actually used by cyclists. On the go, the Edge Explore provides turn-by-turn directions in good time. If you deviate from the route, that's not a problem either, because it automatically takes you back to the right path or to the starting point. And because you naturally want to be quiet on the road, the Explorer 2 avoids busy roads if you wish. In addition, the long battery life of up to 16 hours allows you to ride violently without having to worry about getting lost.
Better situational awareness when cycling
The Edge Explore is compatible with Varia bike security products, including radar and smart bike lights. Pair the radar with the Edge to receive alerts directly on the Edge's display, for example when cars are approaching from behind. So you have a good view of the traffic and are better seen by drivers. The Edge Explore offers emergency assistance and an integrated accident notification that automatically sends your position to an emergency contact if you have any problems.
ClimbPro
Don't be afraid of long angle anymore. The ClimbPro function provides you with constant information on altitude, incline and distance. This allows you to better manage your strength and also cover large differences in altitude in a relaxed manner.
E-bike routing
The Explore 2 offers specific features for the ever-growing community of e-bikers. Connect the navigation device to your e-bike system via ANT+ LEV and receive information about the battery status of your drive at any time. This data is used to check whether your route planning harmonizes with the state of charge or whether alternatives should be suggested to you if necessary.
