Thanks to optimization in the wind tunnel, the final shape of the rim was aerodynamically defined. The ENVE engineers opted for the hookless design, which allows for perfect tubeless compatibility. Fitting and removing the tire is made much easier. In addition, a permanent seal is guaranteed. In addition, the stability at this neuralgic point increases and makes it more resistant to punctures.
This rim is intended for the front wheel. Together with the optionally available SES 3.4. Rear 43 mm rim they are an unbeatable pair. According to the manufacturer, it should only be ridden tubeless.

Aluminum inserts, which are common with other carbon rims, can therefore be dispensed with during production. This reduces the weight and at the same time allows significantly higher spoke tensions, which in turn allow the construction of stiffer wheels.
