With the Duke Hurricane X disc wheel you can reach new dimensions of speed. In addition to the outstanding aerodynamic properties, the extremely low weight of only 990 grams helps you to improve the efficiency of your triathlon or time trial bike with disc brakes. The low weight was achieved thanks to the SLR2 manufacturing technology developed by Duke. The use of highly modular carbon fibers also improves the inherent damping, which in turn has a positive effect on riding comfort. The design also enables unrestricted tubeless use.
With an inner width of 23 millimetres and an outer width of 30 millimetres, it aerodynamically integrates 28 millimetre wide tires perfectly into the rim profile. The hook profile of the rim flanges ensures a secure fit for all tubeless tires or tires with inner tubes. Inside the wheel is a DT Swiss 240 EXP hub, which impresses with its toothed disk freehub with 36 engagement points and its robust freehub sound. The light refractions created by the UD carbon surface are a visual highlight. To cover the valve hole, 4 visually matching Duke logo stickers are included in the scope of delivery. A matching 34 millimeter tubeless valve and a pump adapter are also included.

3-year warranty and lifetime crash replacement
Duke selects the materials used very carefully in order to offer you the best possible product. Therefore, the quality standards for all products, subcontractors and partners are very strict. Duke guarantees that the rims offered have no hidden defects for a period of two years. However, improper installation or use of the products will invalidate the warranty.

In the event of accidents or heavy falls, violent impacts can damage the rim and make it impossible to use. Duke therefore offers a lifetime crash replacement for its UD carbon rims. In exchange, you will receive a 50% discount on the rim you have purchased.

NOTE: The Hurricane X disc wheel should not be used with SRAM XDR freehub bodies because the distance between the chain and the carbon coating of the disc would not be large enough in the lightest gear and the chain would rub against the carbon.
