This DT SWISS nipple combines ease of installation and lightness. Thanks to the Squorx head shape, it has a square and Torx tool holder. The latter offers more contact surface when building the wheel, which means that the power transmission from the tool to the nipple is better distributed. In addition, the Pro Head® and Pro Lock® technologies guarantee you a stable and durable wheel. The use of brass as a material increases resistance to external influences and prevents long-term corrosion.
ProHead®
Pro Head® nipples have a spherical contact surface, which allows it to automatically align itself with the spoke angle. This enables a better power flow and prevents tilting in the rim base.
ProLock®
With Pro Lock® nipples, a two-component adhesive is injected into the thread. This activates during assembly and hardens after 6-7 hours. As a result, loosening of the spokes is almost impossible and a long-term stable impeller is guaranteed. However, re-centering is possible at any time without any problems.
