Modern XC rim with just the right width for the tires you need to compete on today's demanding cross-country courses. The welded construction of the XR 391 and the glass bead blasted, anodized finish are in the same league as your high quality cross country bike. The terrain-specific profile, the special alloy and the use of the PHR nipple connection allow the seemingly impossible combination of width, strength and lightness.
The rim is connected using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized with a block during welding and then CNC machined to guarantee a seamless transition. Convinced of the robustness, DT Swiss approves the rim up to a system weight of 110 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the XR 391 is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk. The rim comes with matching DT Squorx Pro Head® nipples and PHR washers. The washers are mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure the nipples fit perfectly and protect the sensitive spoke ends.
