The M 462 is based on the extremely successful Enduro rims from DT Swiss, where the fastest riders of the world have won the world championship. The M 462 unites this technology in a lightweight package for All Mountain Bikes and remains affordable thanks to the encased rims.
The rim is connected with the sleeve joint procedure. A molded part is pressed uniformly into both ends of the rim profile and the rim is put together. Convinced of the robustness, DT Swiss releases the rim up to a system weight of 120 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims of the current program, the M 462 is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. Only one suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk is required.
