The EX 511 27.5" is the high-end enduro rim in the DT Swiss range. Created for the rough, it can withstand even the toughest trails. With an inner width of 30 millimeters, it offers optimal support for 2.7" wide enduro tires. With a weight of 535 grams, it also performs very well on climbs. The rim is connected using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized with a block during welding and then CNC machined to guarantee a seamless transition. Convinced of the robustness, DT Swiss approves the rim up to a system weight of 110 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the EX 511 27.5" is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All that is required is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk. The rim is supplied with suitable DT Squorx Pro Head® nipples and PHR washers The washers are mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipple and thus protect the sensitive spoke ends.
